great location but slightly dated rooms

The location allowed for easy exploration of the area's attractions. The communal lobby area offered a cozy spot to enjoy coffee and snacks at any hour.

The rooms felt a bit dated compared to modern expectations.

    location

It was just a nice choice for a swift visit in Portsmouth with good value considering price it charged. The air conditioning worked great on a hot day, which was a big plus. If you want good coffee, make sure to grab some outside because the lounge coffee was cold.

    noise issue

The location was fantastic, just a short

walk from all the main attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. However, we were disappointed with the noise level at night, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

    cozy common area
    inviting decor
    limited parking
    difficult access

I greatly appreciated the inviting nautical theme throughout the Ale House Inn, especially the cozy common area with soft seating and warm decor that made it feel both charming and accessible for those of us with a touch of unsteadiness.

More accessible parking options would be helpful.
